You also cannot use the iOS simulator on platforms other than macOS. This is because the simulator needs Apple’s native Cocoa API–a massive library of frameworks–to handle GUI, runtime, and more. Porting Cocoa to a different platform is far too much trouble. Instead, developers virtualize macOS on their computer hardware–or procure a MacBook.

If you are not a MacOS user, then the first thing you will probably want to do is to run your Flutter app on iOS Simulator. Let's look into how you can run your app on Simulator. First of all, start an iOS Simulator on the virtual MacOS system. The problem is that Mac Catalyst is a different platform than the iOS Simulator, and linker refuses to use the iOS Simulator slice when linking binary for macOS returning the following message: libGoogleAnalytics.a(GAITrackerImpl.o), building for UIKitForMac, but linking in object file built.
Apple began transitioning to 64-bit hardware and software technology for Mac over a decade ago, and all modern Macs now include powerful 64-bit processors that can run advanced 64-bit apps. These apps can access dramatically more memory, enable faster system performance, and take advantage of technologies that define today's Mac experience, such as Metal graphics acceleration.
Apple has been working with developers to transition their apps, and in 2018 Apple informed them that macOS Mojave would be the last version of macOS to run 32-bit apps.
Apple's transition to 64-bit technology is now complete. Starting with macOS Catalina, 32-bit apps are no longer compatible with macOS. If you have a 32-bit app, please check with the app developer for a 64-bit version.
